i also like the angle you used in the 3rd panel.
when i first saw this page i was impressed beyond all belief, i must say.

then i saw page 2 XD that was...emazing.

Sorry to hear you didn’t make it in. It’s a shame really. Your style is, indeed, very unique and unlike any other that I’ve witnessed. The contrast between the naturalism of the first and third panel, compared to the surreal cartoon like look of the souls in the second, is very fascinating. The last sentence, “but if this truly is the end…” is a great hook, that’s got me interested in what awaits the reader in the next page. The only complaint I have is that the type and text squares could afford to be a bit more inventive. Since this is the beginning of the story, (I assume) the white back for the black font text is to intrusive and apart from the rest of the composition. Other then that, smashing good work.

P.S. Forgive my grammar and spelling. Falling asleep at the keyboard here.
