Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

So I bought some stuff from and this summer!!

Wayyy way way long ago I got a few trinkets from ~rosieok :3

Got the birdie brotch and artsy tree patch/pin, so cute!
Also came with an adorable crochet case that I hold my cellphone in <3 AND OMG, ALL OF IT WAS BLUE! EVERYTHING MATCHED! AND NOW MY HAIR TOO LOLL!!!

I'm not sure where to put them yet, on my bag or not <3 so they remain stuck to the phone case for now. It look sooo so cute that way, though! Oh, the decisions!

And I got a cool strap too, it's so cute! It's a great addition to the junk I have on my psp! ^_^

If you want a wallet
I'm totally up for it.
Mine has withstood several weeks of wear,
and it's been holding up just fine.
The finish makes it kind of sticky,
but that's just how the varnish is.
I'll try to make a video of me explaining more
about the damage it has taken,
but for now I'm all up for taking commissions.

Here is how it goes:

Price of wallet you order/purchace (include shipping price) +
$60 USD for the painting itself +
Shipping of finished product to your home ( $10 USD for the United States or $20 USD for the rest of the world)</b>

Add all of that together and that's how much you pay.
The painting job itself is 60 dollars.

Choosing a Wallet

My painting was done on this wallet right here, found at Target:

The wallet is made of polyester,
which is a fabric so it takes in the acrylic paint well.
So when looking for a wallet,
something made of a similar material (polyester) would work.
Leather or plastic-coated wallets
probably won't take in the paint too well,
and the painting may flake off over time.

I am going to tell you about
how well the wallet stands up to everyday use and stains,
since that was a common question many people had about it.

I coated my wallet in about 8 or 9 coats of resin-based varnish, matte finish for acrylic and oil paintings.
It is waterproof and strong,
so the painting will be safe for everyday use.

The only thing you have to watch out for is oil and grease stains
like from potato chips, etc. as this will permanently stain the wallet.
I only know this because mine has a small grease stain.
The stain looks like a shiny spot on the wallet,
but does not change the appearance other than that.

If the wallet gets soiled
(i.e. from dirt, dust, etc.)
you can carefully rinse it in water and hand soap,
and dab it dry with a tissue or paper towel.
